Katerina Alexiou holds a Diploma in Architectural Engineering. She is currently finishing her PhD on problems of coordination in complex distributed design networks at the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA) and the Bartlett School of Graduate Studies at University College London. She is also a research assistant at The Open University. She has published on topics related to complexity, artificial intelligence in design, design and planning support systems and design science, and organized a number of workshops and meetings on relevant themes.

Theodore Zamenopoulos is a professionally qualified architect. He is currently finishing his PhD on the mathematical basis and abstractions of complexity and design at the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA) and the Bartlett School of Graduate Studies in University College London. He is also a research assistant at The Open University. He has published on topics related to complexity, artificial intelligence in design, design and planning support systems and design science, and organized a number of workshops and meetings on relevant themes.
