Dr Shengfeng Qin is a Lecturer in the School of Engineering and Design, Brunel University, UK.
He obtained his BSc and MSc degrees from China. He was an academic visiting scholar within the
Geometric Modelling group at the University of Birmingham. After working as a Research Assistant
at UWIC, he gained his PhD in Computer-Aided Design from the University of Wales. He subsequently
joined the Manufacturing System Integration Research Institute (MSI), Loughborough University as a
Research Associate. His main research interests are in computer aided conceptual design,
sketch-based interface and modeling, and distributed collaborative design and complexity
management.
